Chief Winemaker

Corrie Krehbiel serves as the Chief Winemaker at Frind Winery, bringing a wealth of expertise in viticulture and oenology to her role.  With over 25 years of winemaking experience at top wineries in the Okanagan Valley, Corrie has cultivated an unparalleled understanding of the region's terroir and its potential for producing exceptional wines.

With a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and post-Graduate studies at Lincoln University in New Zealand, Corrie honed her skills in winemaking, gaining a deep understanding of fermentation, wine production and sensory evaluation.  She further expanded her knowledge by pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), focusing on the strategic management and business aspects of the wine industry. 

Corrie's extensive career journey has taken her across the globe, where she gained invaluable experience in wineries in France, Italy, California and New Zealand. These experiences exposed her to diverse winemaking traditions and techniques, shaping her into a versatile and adaptable winemaker.

Corrie's talent and dedication caught the attention of Markus Frind, founder of Frind Winery.  Appointed as Chief Winemaker, Corrie leads the winemaking team with a focus on quality, innovation and sustainability.
